How to fix iPhone XS using FaceTime

Before fixing problems with software that cannot run FaceTime on iPhone XS, check the status of the Apple FaceTime server on the Apple Support Status page. If FaceTime is off, you can wait for the server to start up again. If the FaceTime apk server has started but is still not working on your mobile, try the following solution.

The first solution

Reset and deactivate FaceTime.

This can be a random problem affecting the FaceTime application, mainly if you have used FaceTime on your previous device. In this case, reactivate FaceTime, and the issue can be resolved.

Here it is:

  1. Click to open the settings.
  2. Click FaceTime.
  3. Please turn off the FaceTime switch to turn it off.
  4. Perform a soft reset or restart iPhone XS.
  5. Then go back to Settings-> FaceTime and select FaceTime again to switch the switch.
  6. To resolve this issue, it works in the same way as restarting and updating the FaceTime application. If you find a slight flaw in the FaceTime app, that’s enough.

The second solution

Log out of your Apple ID account and log in again.

If the above solution did not resolve the issue, exit FaceTime with Apple ID and try to log in again. The descriptions are as follows:

  1. Open the Settings app on the main page.
  2. Click FaceTime.
  3. Go to the section to get there.
  4. Select the Apple ID and click on the “Exit” option.
  5. Restart iPhone XS (soft reset).
  6. Then return to the Settings-> FaceTime-> section and enter your Apple ID and your phone number.
  7. Click on the following options to sign in.
  8. After applying the new changes, verify that the FaceTime application is running. If not, go to the next solution.

The Third solution:

Check and manage iPhone XS date and time settings.

Check the date and time settings on FaceTime and make sure they are set correctly. The access method is as follows.

  1. Open the Settings app on the main page.
  2. Click the panel.
  3. Click on the date and time.
  4. Then activate it by clicking on the “Automatic settings” option.
  5. Also, make sure the time zone is set to your current location.
